The Sir Jean Etienne Moilin Ah-Chuen Foundation Brings Joyful Christmas to Children

The Sir Jean Etienne Moilin Ah-Chuen Foundation, which manages the social initiatives of the ABC Group, invited around 150 children to its traditional Christmas party at the Sir Jean Etienne Moilin Ah-Chuen Memorial Centre on Saturday, December 20. It should be noted that these children receive support from partner NGOs such as Caritas Roche Bois, Caritas Tranquebar, Ki Fer Pa Mwa, the Movement for the Progress of Roche Bois (MPRB), the active community of Camp Yoloff, as well as M Kids and Future Hope.

This festive day was made possible thanks to a collection of toys and school supplies from the directors and employees of the Group, who showed generosity and contributed to the success of this event.

The activities brought the Memorial Centre's garden to life, transformed for the occasion into a true festive space. Creative workshops, interactive games, and bouncy castles, among others, turned the morning into a lively celebration, before giving way, in the early afternoon, to a musical performance by singer Warren Permal. The smiles, laughter, and interactions between the young guests and ABC Group employees made this celebration unforgettable.

On this occasion, David Ramsay, CSR Manager, stated: "This day would not have been possible without the commitment and collaboration of our partner NGOs, to whom we sincerely thank for their constant dedication to the children. I also want to commend the remarkable contributions of ABC Group employees, whose generosity, solidarity, and enthusiasm truly lit up this day and offered the children a Christmas filled with joy and hope."

After lunch, the most awaited moment of the day arrived; Santa Claus made a spectacular entrance aboard a red Chery Tiggo 4, greeted by the applause and cheers of the children. The gift distribution, carried out by Santa with the help of Group employees, lit up the children’s eyes and infused the magic of Christmas.

As a reminder, established in 2013, the Sir Jean Etienne Moilin Ah-Chuen Foundation encompasses all the social actions of the ABC Group. Its social responsibility program is structured around four key areas of intervention: the environment, education, health, and sports, and the fight against poverty.
