Peru: A Train Accident at Machu Picchu Claims One Life and Injures Many
In Peru, a tragedy occurred on Tuesday at Machu Picchu. A head-on collision between two tourist trains heading to the famous citadel resulted in at least one death and injured 40 others, according to authorities.
The victim was the driver of one of the trains, as confirmed by the regional prosecutor's office in Cusco. The nationalities of the injured individuals are currently unknown.
