Two Serious Accidents in the Early Hours of January 1st

Sadly, the days seem to repeat themselves. Two serious accidents were reported in the early hours of January 1st, in Bambous and Bagatelle. It is worth noting that the number of fatalities on our roads in 2025 was 123, compared to 134 in 2024. Despite this slight decrease, the figure remains alarming. With the introduction of the new points-based driving license that came into effect on January 1, 2026, drivers are warned: it is more crucial than ever to adhere to the Road Traffic Act.
