Vegetables: Artificial Price Increase During the Festive Season

Kreepalloo Sunghoon warns of an artificial rise in vegetable prices during this festive season. The secretary of the Small Planters Association cites the example of high-quality love apples, which are currently selling for between Rs 45 and Rs 50 per pound. However, he reassures that prices are expected to return to normal by January 15. He also notes that recent rains have been beneficial for the harvests.
