Weather: Gusts of Up to 50 km/h Expected, High Seas Outings Not Recommended
Early this morning, clouds from the southern sector are influencing local weather. According to the Vacoas weather station, the weather is mostly partly cloudy this Friday, January 2, occasionally becoming cloudy in the east, southeast, and central plateau, with a few showers. The weather is expected to improve throughout the day.
Maximum temperatures will range from 25 to 27 °C in the highlands and from 29 to 32 °C in coastal regions.
Minimum temperatures will be between 18 and 20 °C in the central plateau and between 22 and 24 °C on the coast.
The wind is blowing from the southeast at about 20 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 50 km/h.
The sea is strong beyond the reefs, with swells of around 2.5 meters. Outings in high seas are not recommended.
