Weather: Showers with gusts of 50 km/h expected in some areas, high seas outings discouraged

Clouds associated with a line of instability coming from the east are influencing local weather.

The weather will be cloudy this morning and early afternoon, with showers mainly in the eastern half of the country and on the central plateau. According to the weather station's forecasts issued on January 4, the showers will temporarily be moderate.

Caution on the roads: patches of fog will be present in some areas, reducing visibility. The weather will gradually improve afterwards.

During the night, showers are expected in the heights, while the sky will be partly cloudy elsewhere.

Maximum temperatures will range from 25 to 27 degrees Celsius in the heights and between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius in coastal areas.

As for the minimum temperature, it will fluctuate between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius on the coast.

The wind will blow from the east-southeast at about 20 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 50 km/h during showers.

The sea will be rough beyond the reefs, with waves around 2.5 meters. High seas outings are discouraged.
