Health: Chikungunya: Authorities on Alert

Health authorities are maintaining a high level of vigilance following the confirmation of five recent cases of chikungunya in the country. According to the acting director of health services and public health, Dr. Fazil Khodabocus, the five affected individuals are spread across different regions of the island.
