140 Cigarettes Seized During Attempted Smuggling into Petit Verger Prison

On Friday, January 2nd, one hundred and forty Chesterfield cigarettes were intercepted during an attempt to smuggle prohibited items into Petit Verger Prison. The illicit products were hidden in three packages thrown over the prison's perimeter wall. A prison officer, working as a CCTV operator, spotted two unknown individuals near the scene.
