End of Mission for the American Ambassador in Mauritius: Henry Jardine Praises Bilateral Cooperation

The United States Ambassador to Mauritius, Henry Jardine, is leaving his post after three years on the island. During a farewell visit to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ritish Ramful, on Monday, January 5, in Port-Louis, he expressed his deep gratitude to the Mauritian government for the cooperation and support received.

Minister Ritish Ramful, in turn, praised the strong and enhanced bilateral relations, particularly mentioning the issues of the Chagos Islands and maritime security.

The discussions also covered the 18th USA–Africa Business Summit, which Mauritius will host in July. This strategic event is expected to gather nearly 3,000 delegates.
