Mauritius is part of a network of international jurisdictions engaged in cross-border investigations into money laundering involving the ousted Venezuelan president, Nicolas Maduro. Maduro arrived today (this Monday) to appear in a New York court, two days after being seized in Caracas during a dramatic U.S. military operation.
