Baie-du-Tombeau: 34-Year-Old Nepali Man Dies After a Fall

Tragic end for a foreign worker of Nepali origin on Sunday, January 4, 2026. Khatri Purna Bahadur, aged 34, was admitted to Jeetoo Hospital on January 3, 2026, following a fall.

According to our sources and initial findings from the investigation, the victim fell from the top of the dormitory where he resided in Baie-du-Tombeau. He was rushed to the hospital, underwent surgery, and was admitted to intensive care. He passed away 24 hours later.

The autopsy conducted yesterday attributed the death to cranio-cerebral injuries. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy. The victim's body will be repatriated to his home country.
