Chagos Deal: Back to Square One with a Return to the Commons

After over five hours of debate, from 7:21 PM on Monday evening to 12:43 AM on Tuesday, and more than fifty interventions, the House of Lords passed four amendments concerning the Diego Garcia Military Base and the British Indian Ocean Territory as part of the ratification process for the Chagos deal.
