A Woman Abandons Her Newborn in the Restroom

A 23-year-old woman, working as a salesgirl and living in Montagne-Blanche, gave birth to a baby in the restroom of the Casualty Department at Sir Anerood Jugnauth Hospital (SAJ) in Flacq on Tuesday around 5 PM. She then discarded the baby into a trash bin located in the restroom. However, the baby was later discovered alive.
