Aviation: The Search for MH370 Resumes 12 Years After Its Disappearance in the Indian Ocean
Nearly 12 years after the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, the search operation for the wreckage is resuming in the Indian Ocean, supported by the latest advancements in autonomous underwater drones. The Boeing 777, carrying 239 people, took off from Kuala Lumpur just after midnight on March 8, 2014, destined for Beijing on a flight lasting approximately six hours. About 40 minutes later, the aircraft's transponder was turned off, rendering it invisible to radar.
