Centre-de-Flacq: CWA Employee Assaulted at Work

A worker from the Central Water Authority (CWA) was violently assaulted on Wednesday evening while monitoring a mobile water treatment station in Argy, Centre-de-Flacq. The attack occurred around 10:30 PM, leaving the guard seriously injured. He was attended to by the police and urgently taken to Sir Anerood Jugnauth Hospital for treatment. During the incident, the guard post on site was also affected.
