Rodrigues: Plaine Corail Airport: A 170 Million USD Project Officially Launched

A new decisive phase is beginning for the development of infrastructure in Rodrigues. On Thursday, January 8, Airports of Mauritius Co. Ltd (AML) launched an international tender for the construction of a new runway and related facilities at Plaine Corail Airport. This large-scale project, financially supported by the World Bank and the European Union, is being hailed as the most significant construction project in the island's history.
