Appeal Judiciary: The Privy Council Will Now Sit in Mauritius

The Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, the highest appellate court in Mauritius, will now hold some of its hearings on Mauritian soil. The Cabinet has noted that, following a request from the government, the London-based body has agreed to conduct hearings in Mauritius starting this year.
