At the Port: Major Cannabis Seizure in a Container

On Saturday, January 10, a cannabis seizure took place in a warehouse at the port area following a joint operation by the police, the ADSU (Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit), and customs. The intervention, which occurred around 10:45 AM, targeted a container that had arrived from the port of Durban, South Africa.

Among several packages, a box declared as containing non-hazardous goods raised suspicions. Inside, a modified granite table concealed several plastic bags containing cannabis.
