Bail and Remand Court: Mamy Ravatomanga Absent from Video Conference but Requests Medical Follow-Up

Yesterday, Malagasy businessman Mamy Ravatomanga was notably absent from the virtual hearing at the Bail and Remand Court (BRC). According to a prison official from Melrose, he refused to appear on screen.

However, his lawyer, Me Khushal Lobine, explained that his client was suffering from stomach pain and felt unwell to participate. The lawyer also requested that the detainee be allowed to see his cardiologist, referring to the need for medical attention.
