Constitutional Challenges: Ramgoolam, Bérenger, and Subron Seek Exemption

As four constitutional complaints regarding the Basic Retirement Pension (BRP) at 65 years were called in the Supreme Court yesterday, three of the defendants in these cases, including Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam, Deputy Prime Minister Paul Bérenger, and Minister of Social Security Ashok Subron, indicated that they intend to file motions to be excluded from the proceedings.
