Preparations for Maha Shivratree and Cavadee: Navin Ramgoolam: "We will not be lenient towards those causing disruptions"

The Prime Minister, Dr. Navin Ramgoolam, chaired the first meeting of the National Task Force responsible for organizing Maha Shivratree and Cavadee on Thursday, January 13. This meeting brought together ministers, senior public service officials, law enforcement agencies, and representatives from religious associations, with the aim of ensuring the smooth execution of the celebrations from both logistical and security perspectives.
