Central Police Station: Eight Years Later, the Tools of 'l’express' Returned

Just over eight years after their seizure, two mobile phones and a USB drive, confiscated during a search at the home of former 'l'express' journalist Axcel Chenney, were returned yesterday by the Central Crime Investigation Department (CCID). These devices were seized in September 2017, at the height of the bet365 scandal, which led to the downfall of former Attorney General Ravi Yerrigadoo, who was considered close to the Jugnauth family.
