Global Trade: UNCTAD Identifies Key Trends for 2026
In its Global Trade Update published this month, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) highlights what will promote more resilient and inclusive trade, provided that policy choices are well-informed. Global economic growth remains sluggish, with a more pronounced slowdown in developing economies outside of China, while demand from major trade powers such as the United States, China, and Europe is also showing signs of weakness.
