A One-Stop Center Opens at Jeetoo Hospital: Minister Bachoo Revives Response and Warns of Nurse Shortage

On Thursday, January 22, Health and Wellness Minister Anil Bachoo officially opened the Diabetes and Vascular Centre at Dr. A. G. Jeetoo Hospital. This facility aims to centralize the screening, examination, and care of diabetic patients all in one location. He emphasized that one in five people could be affected and advocated for prevention starting at a young age, as well as the implementation of the 21 recommendations from the advisory committee.
