Fatal Road Incident in New Grove: Two Deaths in the Same Household

Kaylasson Mootoo-Caroopen passed away on Sunday, January 25. At the age of 72, he had been severely injured in a violent road accident that occurred on Wednesday, January 21, in New Grove, along the highway towards the airport. This tragedy had already claimed the life of his wife, former mayor Rajenee Mootoo-Caroopen, who was 67 years old.
