Plaisance: 18-Year-Old Arrested with Concealed Drugs Valued at Rs 34 Million

A major anti-drug operation was conducted this morning at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Airport, resulting in the seizure of synthetic drugs estimated to be worth Rs 34 million.

The suspect, an 18-year-old man from Roche-Bois, was returning from a trip to England when he was intercepted by the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) upon disembarking from his flight. During the inspection of his luggage, officers discovered three plastic containers containing various drugs.
