Seizure of Rs 114 million: Devianee Ramchurn, Josian Laval Deelawon, and Chandradeo Oomah Back in Court on June 16, 2026

Arrested on February 16, 2025, by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) following the seizure of Rs 114 million, Devianee Ramchurn, the deputy mayor of Vacoas/Phoenix, Josian Laval Deelawon, the director of "My Holiday Ltd", and Chandradeo Oomah, an accountant at "My Holiday Ltd", appeared before the Pamplemousses court this morning. The investigation into this case is ongoing. The three are scheduled to appear in court again on June 16, 2026.
