Food & Aviation: Emirates Emphasizes More Natural Plant-Based Cuisine
In celebration of Veganuary, Emirates is announcing an evolution in its plant-based offerings by focusing on 100% vegan menus made from minimally processed ingredients. The airline aims to highlight legumes, grains, nuts, and seasonal vegetables, without resorting to industrial meat substitutes. Already serving nearly 500,000 vegan meals each year across 140 destinations, Emirates will introduce these new concepts onboard starting in 2027, across all classes.
