Death of Ram Seegobin: Wake at Moura Funeral Home in Petite-Rivière

Dr. Ram Seegobin passed away on Wednesday, January 28, at the age of 84. A well-known figure in the political and trade union landscape, he founded the leftist party Lalit after leaving the MMM in 1982.

The wake will take place at Moura Funeral Home in Petite-Rivière from 5 PM to 11 PM. The funeral procession will head to the Montagne Saint-Pierre crematorium in Bambous tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, as stated by Lalit on its Facebook page.

"The commitment and determination of comrade Ram will continue in our Lalit," wrote the leftist party.
