Chagos Agreement: Australia Remains Optimistic

Australia expresses optimism regarding the Chagos Agreement. The Australian High Commissioner to Mauritius, Kate Chamley, highlighted her country's support for the agreement between the United Kingdom and Mauritius. She made these comments during the celebration of Australia Day in Balaclava. Furthermore, she emphasized that through bilateral relations, as well as at the regional level, both countries are focusing on areas of mutual interest, including the development of the blue economy, maritime security, and combating climate change.
