Horse Racing: Imminent Reopening of the Guy Desmarais Center

Once regarded as a flagship of the Mauritius Turf Club, the Guy Desmarais Center located in Allée-Brillant, Floréal, which was put up for sale in 2024, is set to be operational again in the near future. For context, the bicentennial club was compelled to sell the center to replenish its finances and settle its debts.

As the new owner, Yusuf Sambon, who also owns Lolo hypermarkets, did not have immediate plans for the center, it remained dormant until now.
