An Essential Event for Preparing for the Future
Career choices influence an entire life. To make informed decisions, clear, reliable, and tailored information is essential. That’s why Le Défi Media Group and Défi Digital invite the public to the 8th edition of the Career & Learning Lounge on Friday, January 30, and Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Caudan Arts Centre.
This event is a concrete support space, targeting students awaiting their results, current students, young professionals seeking to change careers, and parents who want to help their children make informed choices in a constantly evolving academic and professional world.
“The Career & Learning Lounge is here to address the real questions of families and youth. Here, information becomes useful advice, and guidance becomes a thoughtful choice,” explains Revathi Narainen Cooroopdoss, the event coordinator.
During these two days, over 20 institutions—local and international schools, universities, vocational training centers, and specialized organizations—will gather under one roof. Their mission is to showcase current fields adapted to the job market and open concrete perspectives, both in Mauritius and internationally.
Another highlight: more than 100 scholarships will be offered, demonstrating the event’s commitment to making education accessible and promoting equal opportunities.
