Noise Pollution: Authorities Considering Stricter Laws

Excessive music volume, illegal rallies, and modified exhausts are causing significant disturbances. Recent incidents at Palmar beach, where policewomen were mistreated by a group of individuals, have brought the issue of noise pollution back into the spotlight. Since November 2025, over 150 noise pollution fines have been issued by the Environmental Police, along with 269 complaints recorded for the period of 2024–2025. Authorities are raising their voices and considering stricter laws.
