Points-Based License: The New System Takes Effect at Midnight

Motorists have been warned. The points-based license system will officially take effect from midnight.

A total of 33 traffic violations will be penalized under this new system.

During the launch of the Korek SuperApp in Ebène on the afternoon of January 30, Transport Minister Osman Mahomed expressed confidence in a change in the behavior of road users. Meanwhile, Technology Minister Avinash Ramtohul indicated that thanks to the Korek SuperApp, drivers will be able to check the number of points associated with their licenses in real-time.
