Justice: Mahen Gondeea Caught Up in the Snehan Freight Ltd Case

The court has ruled on an old but sensitive case due to the name associated with it. In a judgment delivered by the Port-Louis District Court on January 16, the company Snehan Freight Ltd was found guilty on three counts of falsely declaring the value of imported goods, violating the Customs Act of 1988. The company was then led by Hemlata Gondeea and Mahendra Gondeea, who is currently the Minister of Arts and Culture.
