In 2025, Mauritius recorded drug seizures exceeding 1,200 kilograms, valued at Rs 8.4 billion in the local market, at various entry points. The Plaine Magnien Airport remained the main entry point, where 652 kilograms of drugs worth approximately Rs 1.4 billion were intercepted. All these operations were conducted by the Customs Anti-Narcotics Section of the Mauritius Revenue Authority in collaboration with the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit.
