Air Mauritius Enhances Connectivity to Two Destinations: Perth and Kuala Lumpur

Air Mauritius has announced an enhancement of its services to two strategic destinations, Perth and Kuala Lumpur, in response to an anticipated increase in demand and to support tourism and economic exchanges with Australia and Malaysia.

Starting in July, the national airline will add an additional flight on the Perth-Mauritius route. A new Thursday flight will be operated in addition to the existing flights on Wednesday and Sunday. This overnight flight will depart from Perth on Thursday evening and arrive in Mauritius early Friday morning.

This schedule aims to reduce long layovers and transit times, benefiting families, couples, and short-term travelers. The late departure also allows passengers to maximize their work time before the trip while minimizing indirect costs such as extra hotel nights or lost vacation days.

Additionally, Air Mauritius will enhance its service on the Mauritius-Kuala Lumpur route. An extra direct flight will be added on Saturdays, in addition to departures on Mondays and Thursdays, during two high-demand periods.

These additional flights will operate from April 4 to April 25, 2026, and then from July 4 to October 24, 2026, to cater to the growing demand from both tourists and business travelers. This measure also aims to facilitate connections beyond Malaysia.
