[Update] Drowning of little Ahaan Dasootee: The babysitter questioned after her release on bail

Hema Devi Etwareea, 39 years old, charged with involuntary manslaughter due to negligence after the drowning of 8-month-old Ahaan Dasootee in an inflatable pool in Petit-Raffray, was questioned by the police this Monday afternoon.

Presented before the Pamplemousses court on February 2, the babysitter was released on bail, with the magistrate allowing her release upon payment of Rs 15,000 and signing a debt acknowledgment for Rs 50,000.
