Maritime Cannabis Importation: Three Arrests and a Suspected Police Officer

An alleged attempt to import cannabis by sea was thwarted on Friday, January 31, at La Prairie Beach, thanks to a coordinated operation by the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit, with support from the Police Helicopter Squadron and the National Coast Guard. Although the drugs were not found, three suspects were arrested: Jean Berty David Kardaree (35 years old), Muhammad Said Bin Yusuf Jeetun, also known as Saheel (27 years old), and Jean Rohan Noe Quinzinio Perle (20 years old).
