As Maha Shivaratri approaches, parents are urged to ensure that their children's kanwars meet the required standards. This call was made by the president of the Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation, Bhojraj Ghoorbin, during a press conference held on Monday, February 2, in Réduit.

He invited the pilgrims to strictly adhere to the guidelines established by the authorities to avoid further tragedies following the tragic incidents that claimed the lives of young pilgrims in 2023 and 2024.
