Chelsea Loans Axel Disasi to West Ham

Chelsea has loaned Axel Disasi to West Ham until the end of the season. Struggling for game time due to competition at Chelsea and being sidelined by coaches Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior, the French international (with 5 caps) aims to revitalize his career. Last season, he was loaned to Aston Villa but has only played 223 minutes with Chelsea's reserve teams since the start of the 2025-2026 season.

"West Ham United is pleased to announce the signing of French international defender Axel Disasi, on loan from Premier League club Chelsea until the end of the 2025/26 season. Disasi, who has played 10 matches for the national team, was first called up in March 2021," the Hammers announced. At London Stadium, Disasi will reunite with another former Ligue 1 player, Jean-Clair Todibo.
