Cannabis Importation: A Maritime Operation Foiled, Three Suspects Arrested, and a Policeman Under Investigation
A presumed attempt to import cannabis by sea was thwarted on Friday, January 31, at La Prairie beach, thanks to a coordinated operation by the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU), supported by the Police Helicopter Squadron and the National Coast Guard. Although the drug cargo was not found, authorities indicate that a structured plan was aborted offshore, involving several suspects and possibly other individuals yet to be identified.
