Rs 310,200 Seized in 2017: Supreme Court Rules in Favor of the FCC

The Supreme Court has ordered the civil confiscation of Rs 310,200 seized in July 2017 at the residence of Kervin Langue, determining that the amount was derived from criminal activities. The ruling was made on January 30 by Judge Azam Neerooa, following a request filed by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) under the Financial Crimes Commission Act 2023.

The money was discovered during a raid conducted by the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit.
