Weather Update: Heavy Rain Advisory Lifted
No heavy rain advisory is currently in effect in Mauritius. However, clouds associated with the moderate tropical storm FYTIA are still present around the island and will intermittently affect the weather.
This morning and throughout the day, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with showers mainly in the northern regions and on the central plateau. These showers could be moderate at times.
During the night, the sky will remain cloudy with scattered showers, occasionally moderate.
Maximum temperatures will range from 25 to 27 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and from 29 to 32 degrees Celsius in coastal areas.
Minimum temperatures will fluctuate between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius on the coast.
Winds will blow from the north at around 20 km/h, with gusts during showers.
The sea will be rough, with swells from the southwest reaching approximately 2.5 meters. Outings to sea are not recommended.
Additionally, at 04:00, the moderate tropical storm FYTIA was centered around latitude 23.8 degrees south and longitude 54.8 degrees east, moving southeast at about 10 km/h.
