Pay Research Bureau: Police Union Activates Emergency Protocols

The Sunday Allowance continues to stir controversy within the public service as the 2026 PRB report is being prepared. In a letter addressed to the High Powered Committee, the Police Fighters Union (PFU) advocates for the protection of the enhanced pay granted to police officers working shifts or rosters on Sundays. These officers must provide continuous service, seven days a week, including Sundays and public holidays, regardless of their constraints.
