Alleged Money Laundering: Woman Arrested After Seizure of Three Motorcycles, a 4x4, and a BMW

A resident of Route Bassin in Quatre-Bornes was arrested by the Financial Crimes Commission this Thursday. She is suspected of money laundering. Three motorcycles, a 4x4, and a BMW car were seized during this joint operation, conducted in collaboration with the anti-drug unit. The FCC–ADSU operation also included a second raid in Curepipe. Investigators were searching for assets believed to have been acquired with money from illegal sources. The investigation is ongoing.
