Weather: A Tropical System, Gezani, is Forming: Conditions are Intensifying

After the influence of Fytia on local weather, a new tropical disturbance is currently developing in the southwestern Indian Ocean basin and is moving in the same direction at a speed of about 12 km/h, according to the Vacoas Meteorological Station. The system is evolving in an environment conducive to gradual intensification.

If the depression reaches the stage of a moderate tropical storm, it will be named Gezani by the meteorological services.
