Crisis: The Casino Employees Union Calls for a Governance Overhaul

In light of a decade of financial losses and chaotic management, the Casino Employees Union (CEU) held a press conference yesterday at Lakepoint Hall in Curepipe to discuss the future of Mauritius' Casinos, which are currently under the management of the State Investment Corporation Ltd. Among the speakers were Sharvin Sunassee, CEU negotiator, Prakash Chadee, management consultant, Rajen Valayden, a concerned citizen, and Jayen Moorghen, president of the CEU.
