Tourism Authority: Investigation and Suspension of President Arunasalom

During its meeting on Friday, March 6, 2026, the Council of Ministers acknowledged allegations of irregular practices involving José Arunasalom, the president of the Mauritius Tourism Authority.

The Cabinet decided to:

• Conduct an investigation into the allegations made.

• Initiate actions for the immediate suspension of José Arunasalom.
