Journalistic Writing Workshop: "Sensationalism Can Cause Real Harm to Victims"

The Media Trust, in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Welfare, gathered journalists on Thursday, March 5th, in Port Louis for a workshop focused on more responsible coverage of gender-based violence (GBV). Organized just days before International Women's Rights Day, celebrated on March 8th under the theme "Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls", this workshop aimed to encourage a more sensitive treatment of the subject.
